We are seeking a skilled Mechanic / Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial or commercial environment — with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on equipment and machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, controls, wiring, and electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs
- Work independently and collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical work, or a related field
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment
- Safe, effective use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Preferred: Journeyman Electrician cert. • Industrial maintenance • PLC troubleshooting • Welding/fabrication
Compensation
